How do I know what speed my charger is?

ivygo supports Type 2 chargers, which provide charging speeds between 7.4kW and 22kW, depending on your home's electrical setup (single phase or three phases). You can find the speed of your charger in your charger’s manual or on a label on the charger itself.


Here’s what to look for:

  • Power Rating (kW): The label should list the charging speed in kilowatts, such as 7.4kW, 11kW, or 22kW.
  • Amperage and Voltage: If the label provides these, multiply the voltage (V) by the current (A) to estimate the power. For example, 230V x 32A = 7.4kW.
